LIVE PROJECTION MAPPING CONTENT CREATION
Art direction, motion graphics, live visuals & set design for Wiley's headline show at London's O2 Brixton Academy.
Our brief was to biographically depict Wiley's urban background, so we started the show with archival footage and imagery showcasing Wiley's roots, pirate radio days and life growing up in London, E3. As the set progressed we visually moved through his career and began to tease the 3D projection mapped London tower blocks synonymous with Wiley's upbringing. These tower blocks then played an integral part of the show where various elements of the building would force perspective to extrude and manipulate the surface, window lights were synchronised to the beat of the music and the 16:9 content in the centre helped us on our journey with complimentary footage and loops.
Working alongside A/V partners Technical Solutions the set up comprised of 4x6x4 meter towers, 3 x 15,000 lumen Panasonic laser projectors, 8x6 meter fastfold projection screen and video mapping software Resolume Arena.
